Chladni Animation is a visual lab for exploring the musical physics of vibrating plates.

By varying two frequency axes, plate dimensions, material, particle density, and persistence, you can observe how nodal lines and resonant regions emerge across the surface.

The page can also connect to a key/scale selection so those modes map to musical pitches, letting you compare ratios and listen to two oscillators tied to the chosen frequencies.

It is a tool for connecting acoustics, vibration, shape, consonance, material behavior, and musical perception inside one interactive experience.
