Image to Sound

Upload an image, slice it into visual bands, and convert brightness and color into a playable melodic sequence.

Image to Sound turns a still image into a short musical phrase by reading brightness, hue, and the distribution of pixels across the frame.

The tool follows a direct workflow: import an image, choose a pitch-mapping mode, adjust the number of slices and tempo, then listen to the generated sequence.

It works as a compact workshop for connecting visual form, color energy, and melodic motion inside one browser-based interface.

Artistic

The image stays in proportion and becomes a spectral painting: layered rings, drifting overtones, and slow ambient entrances replace the old scanline melody.

Spectral

Analysis now reads the whole image field at once, extracts global brightness, hue, saturation, and contour energy, then shapes an FFT mood profile instead of a left-to-right timeline.

Ambient

Root, scale, octave span, harmony density, overtone profile, contrast, FFT blend, stereo spread, and atmosphere color build a drone ambience rather than a step sequence.
